Kristin Cavallari, a true veteran of reality television, is back on our screens, and this time she is bringing a level of honesty we have not seen before. It has been five years since her last show, Very Cavallari, wrapped up. Now, the Uncommon James founder is returning to her roots with a new docuseries called Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour on E! If you thought you knew Kristin Cavallari, prepare to be surprised. She is putting the "real" in reality TV in a big way.

She has said a thousand times that she would never go back to reality TV. So, how did this happen? Cavallari explained that this new show fit well with her life because she was already going on a podcast tour. She just figured if cameras wanted to come along, she was already doing it. It simply felt right for her. This tour, which happened in March, took her to four cities in seven days. It sounds like a lot of work but also a natural next step for her.

The outcome? Cavallari says Honestly Cavallari turned out to be her favorite show experience. She felt like she could finally be 100% herself. She stated it was the most real show she has ever done. That honesty made the experience truly enjoyable for her. This is a big statement, especially from someone who has been on TV since she was 17 years old.

Kristin Cavallari Almost Quit Her New Reality Show Early For The Sake Of Authenticity

How A Desire For Realness Led To A Standoff With Producers Just Days Into Filming

Kristin Cavallari’s strong commitment to being truly "real" almost shut down production of her series. She felt things were becoming too fake. She put her foot down and told them she was done. Cavallari even tried to quit the show only three days into filming. She explained that with many people involved everyone gets excited. They had many ideas about who should appear on her podcast tour. She felt it started to stray from what it was meant to be.

"Listen, I'm not going to do the show. If you guys are going to try to control what this podcast tour is, I'm more than happy to not do it," she recalled telling them. I think her standing firm was a good move. It made everyone realize she was not going to do it unless it was real. She did not want them telling her what conversations to have. She credits her age and life experience for giving her the confidence to take such a stand. She said it is different when you need something versus when you do not need something. When she was 17 she would do whatever to be on TV. Now she is happy to stay home and not do any of this.

The new show is coming out soon. Cavallari said the tour was "way more emotional" than she thought it would be. Because of this, the show will be "more personal." She went into it thinking it would be easy. She was very wrong. Her eighth-grade boyfriend Johnny even came to a show in Chicago. That event was very different from what she expected. Her old high school friends from Laguna Beach also came which she said was "a lot."

For the first time her kids will appear on TV with her. She shares Camden, 12, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 9, with ex-husband Jay Cutler. She said her kids had a lot of fun. They were 100% themselves on camera. This was really cool for her to see. She even regretted not including her kids on her past show, Very Cavallari. She felt not showing them did a disservice to herself because they are the biggest part of her life. Without them, they had to force storylines and make things up. She regrets that because it was not a true picture of her life. This time it seems she is making sure her life is shown as it truly is.

A Ruptured Implant Forced The Star To Go Under The Knife Again For An Unexpected Reason

Kristin Cavallari is also getting very honest about some scary health news. She recently had to have her breasts redone because of a ruptured implant. She opened up about this on a recent episode of her podcast, "Let’s Be Honest." She shared that one of her breasts looked uneven because of the problem. This news came out after fans wondered if she had made changes following her appearance at the Stagecoach Festival in April. She wore a corset top showing cleavage. At that time she was only two weeks post-operation. She even joked that "the girls were a little swollen."

The 38-year-old explained her first surgery happened almost ten years ago after she had her daughter. She did not want to get her breasts done a second time. But she had a strong feeling that told her to "redo my boobs." Her intuition was saying "Go get your boobs checked out. At least get a consultation. At least go down this road." She could not explain why but something inside her was pushing her to do it. When she finally saw a doctor for a consultation she realized her worries were justified. The doctor seemed concerned especially about her right breast. He asked if she had any problems with it or if it had changed over the years. She could not pinpoint when they changed but she did notice they were not "laying how I wanted them to lay."

Then came the big revelation. "He gets in there, and I have a ruptured implant," she shared. "And there is no way of knowing how long this implant was ruptured for." The Mayo Clinic says a ruptured breast implant has a hole or tear. It is often hard to notice. When it happens it can cause pain or change the shape of the breast. For Cavallari the silicone that leaked out got trapped in her breast tissue. Her body created a lot of scar tissue around it which is good because it holds it in place. She explained that this is her body’s way of protecting itself. That is why her right breast was not looking right. It was messed up.

Cavallari decided then that she would go through with replacing her implants. Her relationship status played a big part in this decision. "I’m single," she said. "If I were in a long-term relationship, maybe I would take out my implants. Right now in my life is when I need the best boobs imaginable." She knows some people will not understand this logic. She is okay with that because it is her body. She has no regrets about getting the surgery. She loves not wearing a bra with a shirt. She loves how she feels about herself when she takes her shirt off in a relationship. Her advice to others interested in breast augmentation is to wait until they are done having children because "kids will ruin your boobs." Breastfeeding three kids is what made her decide to get the first breast surgery.

From Online Dating To Crushing On Actors The Star Is Navigating The Single Life

Beyond the serious health talk, Kristin Cavallari also shared some fun stories about her dating life. She confirmed she is back on dating apps, and recently had a "total fangirl moment" at the Stagecoach music festival. She spotted her celebrity crush, Brandon Sklenar. Cavallari recalled the moment on her podcast. She admits her memory is a little foggy because she had been drinking cocktails and microdosing mushrooms. "I wish this moment was not so blurry for me," she laughed. "All of a sudden, I am able to pick out Brandon Sklenar."

She apparently "attacked" him and said something like "Oh my God, are you Brandon?" She thinks she even said his last name wrong. She had no problem telling Sklenar, who has been in a relationship since 2020, that he was her number one celebrity crush. "I like fing attacked him," she said. "You're my No. 1, you're my biggest celebrity crush." It sounds like Sklenar handled it well. He shook her hand and looked her in the eye saying "Thank you." Cavallari joked that her life was made. She could die today and be a happy woman. This run-in happened while Sklenar was also in the news for dating rumors with Sydney Sweeney. The two were just good friends. Sweeney was living her best life. They had flirtatious chemistry and people noticed it.

As for Cavallari, she was most recently linked to former NHL star Nate Thompson. A source said in December 2024 that they were dating but it was not serious. She also revealed on her podcast in March 2025 that she had returned to dating apps. Cavallari was married to former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler from 2013 to 2022. They have their three children together. It is clear that Kristin Cavallari is living life on her own terms, whether it is about her career, her health, or her love life. She is sharing all the ups and downs with her audience. It seems she is done pretending and is ready to be completely herself.
